Birthday Valentines Day Wishlist

Every year right around February 1st my love of pink kicks into high gear.  it feels brain has been coded with an algorithm automatically skewing me toward the hue on precisely the same date every year.  Or the simpler explanation is that I tend to ride the waves of seasonal fashion and February is the month where spring pieces start arriving in store and online.
I love the Tom Ford Sean pink and gold aviators, for a more reasonable version Ray-bans are a tried and true fave!
This oversized, rose colored sweater from Asos is the prettiest color pink.
My new favorite brand, Aviator Nation made these sweats in a reddish pink…I am obsessed!
I consider myself pretty easy to buy for, a lovely floral scent will always do the trick.  Currently, I am coveting Gucci’s new scent Bloom and Philosophy’s Loveswept is also so delish as well.
I have yet to buy one single item from Charlotte Tidbury’s line, I have to admit though, every instagram post / ad has me drooling.  One of these days I am going to give in and by the whole line!   I think the first thing I’d scoop up would be the Charlotte’s Magic Cream Treat and Transform Moisturizer, bloggers rave about it, Rachel Parcell raved about it in this post.   Others on my list are the Hollywood Beauty Light wand and the Light Wonder Youth Boosting Foundation, pretty much everything looks like it might make me look exactly like Gisele, so I am all in!!
How cute are these pink velvet booties…yes please!

Uniform

Winters in the Northeast are excessively long, unfortunately for me it is not my favorite season.  I am not the girl who relishes sweater, jeans and boot season, somehow every year I get through it, begrudgingly.  My uniform this year consists of these over the knee boots, for a higher end version Stuart Weitzman’s are a fashion blogger favorite!  Whether they are in or out skinny jeans are still my jam, I pair a black or neutral colored cashmere sweater with coordinating outwear, a Gucci belt and gold accessories, voila, there you have it…my winter uniform:)

Floral Embroidery

I wasn’t immediately a huge fan of the influx of embroidery onto fashion last winter. During the spring and summer celebs were loving the prohibitively expensive Gucci iterations of the trend.  Gucci seemed to make the first major move on the trend and now droves of more budget friendly brands are jumping on the wagon.  Moving into fall, I can actually say I’m loving cozier versions of the trend. Embroidered sweatshirts and joggers are comfortable and super cute!   Embroidery is making denim more playful and fun, I can even get behind some of the footwear I’ve seen out there.

Spring Weekend Vibes

Currently loving the relaxed look of a boho inspired OTS top paired with vintage cut-offs, classic gold accessories, white slip on sneaks and a casual catch all tote (essential for a busy mother of three).   There are so many pretty OTS options this spring, I picked a few of my favorites.  The Gray Malin esque tote is super fun.
